Lucas Schneider is a Brazilian civil engineer with over a decade of experience in construction management, diagnostic engineering and industrial retrofit. He founded Schneider Enterprise in the United States to bring a rigorous, pathology-informed approach to American construction — particularly in the storm-exposed Gulf and Atlantic coasts.
His career was built at THL Engenharia, a Brazilian firm where he served as Technical Manager, Managing Partner and now Shareholder. Under his leadership, the firm delivered industrial, structural and civil works for clients including Vale S.A., Banco do Brasil, Caixa Econômica Federal, ArcelorMittal, CST, Biancogres, Multilift, Flexibras and Anatel.
Lucas holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Vila Velha and a postgraduate specialization in Building Diagnostic Engineering from IBENC/UNIP. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and of CREA-ES, Brazil’s Regional Council of Engineering. He is fluent in AutoCAD, Revit, CypeCad and MS Project, with working knowledge of Python and C++.
He lives in Fort Myers with his wife Vivyan Schneider, who serves as Vice President of the company. He is the youngest of three siblings and the son of Márcia and Fábio Schneider — the Schneider family builds, both structures and a life in the United States.
